Story
TEAM TRAV are taking on the stairs of the iconic SCG and Allianz Stadium. We will take on 6300 stairs in both stadiums, ending with a lap of the "hallowed grounds" (in the middle of winter too!!!)
Our mission is to raise awareness and funds for The Leukaemia Foundation.
Everyone that knows us knows our journey but for those that don't, Travis was just 9 years old when he was diagnosed with ALL Leukaemia. He fought long and he fought hard, undergoing 2 bone marrow transplants and 2 relapses over 3 years. He spent over half that time living in and out of hospital with continuous treatment, blood transfusions, surgeries, infections and so much more AND he did it all WITH A SMILE ON HIS FACE. He was always so positive and happy.
With great sadness Travis lost his fight on 10 October 2014 and in his honour TEAM TRAV we will continue to raise awareness and much needed funds for all charities that represent him in some way.
During this time we met a lot of families, some who won the fight and some who didn't, and this is why we need to keep doing what we are doing so we can help all those future fighters and their families.

The Leukaemia Foundation of Australia
The Leukaemia Foundation is the only national not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the care and cure of patients and families living with blood cancers ( leukaemia , lymphoma, myeloma) and related blood disorders.
The Leukaemia Foundation supports patients and their families by providing services at no cost to the patient. Our services include providing disease specific information, emotional support and advocacy, financial assistance, educational programs to help people live with their disease, safe transport to and from treatments and access to fully furnished 'home away from home' accommodation for regional families.
Millions of dollars are also invested annually to Australia’s leading researchers to develop better treatments and eventually a cure.
The Leukaemia Foundation receives no ongoing government funding and relies on money raised from the community to continue to support patients and their families affected by leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma or related blood disorder.
